BiteSMS v2.7 - Image 1Emoticons have finally made their way to BiteSMS, developer BigBoss' homebrew alternative text messaging app for the Apple iPhone.

Support for emoticons is the highlight (well, it's the only new feature really) in the beta version of BiteSMS 2.7. It automatically decodes stuff like ":)" and turns 'em into little emoticons like the ones in various IM clients. There are eight emoticons available in total.

To download the latest version of BiteSMS, just add the BiteSMS beta repo (http://www.bitesms/cydia/beta) to Cydia. This release is still in beta, so expect a few bugs. Hopefully, more emoticons will be added soon.
