If the answer is yes, then don’t worry. There are several hundreds around the world who have the same problems and tend to sleep through the various alarms they set up on the iPhone. This brings me to the question -Have you ever hoped that the alarm clock on your iPhone was slightly louder? If you have and you use a jailbroken iPhone then the solution is very simple. A recently released tweak on the Cydia store will ensure that you wake up on time. Alarming for the iPhone makes the alarm louder thus ensuring you do not oversleep. Once you download and install this tweak you will be surprised with the fact that there are no settings you can tweak. Though, most Cydia tweaks do not result in an app icon being created, they still have customizable options in the Settings menu that you can change. How then does it work? The answer is simple. Once you set the alarm on your iPhone as normal through the Clock.app, as soon as the alarm rings in the morning the Cydia tweak will get activated and it will increase the volume of the alarm to the maximum. Once you wake up and switch it off the volume levels will normalize. You can get Alarming from the Cydia store for $0.99. You can simply type ‘Alarming’ into the search field and you will be able to download and install it. This app is very useful for you if you really need to make your Alarm louder. However, there is another tweak by the name of PlayAwake which will also ensure you don’t oversleep with more customizable options. Stay tuned for the review of that app on iPhoneuseguide.com but for now check out Alarming on Cydia.
