iPhone Tips and Tricks: Cydia Tweaks for the iPhone. Mega Guide Part 5.

20 cool tweaks done, more tweaks for your jailbroken iPhone still to come. So let’s waste no more time. Here’s the next group of tweaks. 21) Multiflow: This is an awesome task switcher which allows you to see screenshots of the applications running in the background of your iPhone. Multiflow is a multitasking tweak which will display up to 9 applications running with a sleek thumbnail effect instead of the standard iPhone’s icon view. You also get the ‘x’ option to close the apps you don’t want running. Multiflow will allow you to quickly and efficiently switch between applications. 22) SpringFlash: Only for jailbroken iPhone 4’s, this is an app which is based on springboard activation and it will allow you to use your iPhone’s LED light as a flashlight. This completely removes the hassle of unlocking your phone, turning on your screen or even closing your app with giving you a flashlight access with a simple touch of a button. 23) MxTube: This is first native iPhone video downloader from YouTube. You can download videos you like directly to your iPhone and watch them later on without needing the internet connection. The interface of the app is a lot similar to the actual YouTUbe app and will allow you to search for videos and then download them using either a Wi-Fi or a data connection on your iPhone. MxTube will work with jailbroken iPhones running iOS 4.x. 24) CyDelete: Using CyDelete you will be able to delete Cydia applications directly from your springboard much like the ability to delete application on the homescreen of the standard iPhone. When you press and hold any of the Cydia app icons, they will start jiggling. You will also notice the similar ‘x’ on the sides of the icons which you can tap to be able to delete the respective app. However, it is interesting to note that those apps not downloaded from Cydia will not be deleted even though you see the ‘x’ mark on them. Also CyDelete will not delete Cydia even though the name suggests so. 25) Convert: This is an effective app if you are looking to manage your privacy while browsing the net using safari on your iPhone. Convert will add a private browsing session to your browser which will not store any history nor restore any cookie preference when you open or close the browser. The design of the browser using Convert resembles that of Google Chrome and changes colour when you have private session enabled. As we finish the quarter century mark we can only look back and really appreciate the improvements the lethal combination of Cydia and jailbreaking can bring to your iPhone.
