Steps involved in this process are mentioned below.
1) To start off, first open Cydia by going to your jailbroken iPhone’s home screen.
2) Then, go to the sections tab and tap on it.
3) After this tap on the Addons, specifically BootLogo from the list of options.
4) You will be given several different BootLogo addons. You can choose the ‘Apple boot logo’ from the list.
5) After tapping on the ‘Apple boot logo’ select install which is present on the top right of the screen.
6) Select the confirm button on the top right of the screen.
7) Once the Addon gets installed successfully you need to restart your Springboard. There will be a prompt for this. Select Restart to continue with the process.
8) Once your iPhone restarts you then need to go into the settings app to change the settings of your Boot logo. In settings, go into the BootLogo option.
9) Under built-in you will find a list of Boot Logos you have installed. If you install ‘Apple Boot logo’ in step 4, you will find it here.
10) Select Apple Logo and that’s it. You are done!
The next time you restart you jailbroken iPhone you will see the standard boot logo animation. You can use whichever logo is available in the add-ons list. Making your own boot logo however, is another story.| This story sucks? This story rocks! |
