If you are not aware then you should know that Cydia relies on repositories from jailbreak developers to index jailbreak apps for your iPhone. Repositories or repos are just storage houses for content which jailbreak app developers want to distribute through Cydia. In simple words, repos are just sources that Cydia searches for jailbreak apps. Cydia by default already has several popular repos pre-installed. But if you are looking for a specific app which needs you to add a new source then this article will come of good use for you. The steps in the process of adding new sources to Cydia are mentioned below: 1)      To start off, open Cydia on your jailbroken iPhone. 2)      Next, tap on the Manage tab. 3)      Then tap on Sources. 4)      Once you open this tab you will be shown a list of sources which Cydia is currently using to search for jailbreak app. If you have previously never added a source then you will only see those sources which are ‘Installed by Package’. Some of the popular ones include BigBoss and ModMyi. 5)      If you want to add a new source then tap on the Edit tab on the right hand corner and then on the Add tab in the top left corner. 6)      Cydia will then present a window in which you have to enter a URL. 7)      Enter the URL of the source making sure there are no spelling mistakes. 8)      Click on Add Source and you are done. Cydia will first update and verify your added source. 9)      You will be able to find this source under a new category labeled ‘Entered by User’ in the Sources Tab. 10)  On tapping on the new added source you will be able to find all the content provided by that source. 11)  You can also browse additional sources on Cydia by going to the home page of Cydia and tapping on More Package Sources. This gives you a list of additional sources you can install. You can enjoy Cydia on your jailbroken iPhone much more now!
