Steam Client available for Android

Everyone's favourite, hey not looking at you Origin, content delivery system, Steam, has yet to tap into the mobile gaming market. Where other companies, such as EA, Disney and PopCap have made a killing on the market Steam is looking like the rich kid who didn't get invited to the fun little party. But no more as someone has made an unofficial Steam Client.

While the app doesn't actually let you play games on your phone, like say, the OnLive app does, the Steam app developed by IBF Programs let's Steam users browse game sales and get a nice summary of their own Steam Profile. You can also check on your friends and groups and view stats while you and others play. The interface is not dissimilar to the Android 4.0 OS as it keeps track of everything you're doing on Steam.

Other than it being an easy way to buy games while on the move or keeping in contact with Steam friends the app doesn't do too much. But it is free and unofficial so if you've got an Android better nab it up. Oh and if you have an iPhone, apparently there's a similar one called Gears for you Apple eaters.
