Sniping on the go: Silent Scope heading to iPhone |
Ó
Not stopping at MGS Touch, Konami's now announcing that they're bringing their classic Arcade game, Silent Scope, onto the iPhone and iPod Touch. From what we can tell, it's going to have the same story as the one in the arcade version. The 1999 game will be ported to the handheld platform, sans the sniper rifle attachment in the arcade installation, of course.
Here, it's all a matter of tapping the screen to shoot the pesky terrorists who have the President and his family under hostage.
Though they didn't announce the final release date, you can expect this on the iTunes App store soon enough.

Definitely going to download this, I can't imagine how many quarters I've wasted on this game when I was younger.
get why people say the iPhone is rivaling the PSP.. The games are okay, some of them, but they're very simplistic when you think about it.. I'm not sure when the iPhone came out but I don't think it was designed to be used as a game system if need be, the controls are so .. touch screen if you know what I mean
