Rally Master Pro plagued with 95% piracy |

Fishlabs had high hopes for the App Store release of Rally Master Pro.
It was awarded Best Mobile Game of 2008 by Pocket Gamer, and has since
been the subject of talk as far as iPhone racers were concerned.The good news: a lot of people are playing it. The bad news: 95% of those people are playing pirated copies.
Mobile Entertainment got in touch with Fishlabs CEO Michael Schade to talk about the matter. "We track UDID's [unique device identifiers] anonymously per day, deduct the reported sales and we have the number of pirated downloads," he says. "In this case, many thousands on day one." Schade, through the Touch Arcade forums, also expressed his disappointment in the turn of events. "it makes it very hard to believe in the future of the App Store, sometimes," he posted.
While there are ways and means to combat piracy, it seems that illicit activity still has the upper hand. Mobile Entertainment reports that indie Developer Smells Like Donkey experienced 80% piracy for Tap-Fu, while ngmoco is looking at 50-80% piracy when its games launched in the App Store.

Has over 1 Million pirates. Most of them are "I only use CFW for Homebrew" people.

Oh Lord in the sky, please get those idiots that think its ok to jailbreak and put them in a place they'll never touch another phone in again, jail. I'm all for unlocking and 3rd party apps, but piracy is *****ed up. Why don't you sick ***** pirates just DIE ALREADY.
1 Million is all I know for sure. I have not met a single person that actually own the games. Have you seen the sales for some of these handheld games. Only the hyped games ever sell.

Gran turismo on psp sucks!! I have it and is good but graphics wise is horrilble. I played real rracing on iphone and is better but the shaders are not as good as in Gran Turismo. When we really start getting some games that use open gl 2.0 it will be worth buying!
such as playing with emulators and downloaded roms.
i mainly use my psp with cfw for piracy har har.
oh and there was a time when i used my psp as an mp3 player, from tunes downloaded from p2p.
and oh crap, they have UDID! ok ill just stay away from iphone games, they are crap anyways.
ill just pirate MTV's from youtube on my upcoming iphone.
gt psp really sucked. hated the blacked out interior. Cant wait for GT5
