Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard ready to infiltrate iPhone, iPod Touch

The tactical squad-based shooting action of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six series is now finally accessible to those with an iPhone or iPod Touch. Publisher Gameloft has announced that Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard has arrived on the App Store.

Shadow Vanguard is the first new entry in the Rainbow Six series that we've seen in a while. The game is basically a reimagining of the original Rainbow Six and features 11 recreated and enriched levels.

The game lets players create a three-man team where each member has their own unique abilities like recon, demolition or stealth. Online modes include three-player co-op that covers the entire campaign and a competitive multiplayer mode for up to 10 players.

Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard is now available for purchase and download on the App Store for US$ 6.99 / GB £3.99 / € 5.49.
