MegaMan creator releases first post Capcom game

Keiji Inafune is known for the classic MegaMan games as well as the Dead Rising series and Lost Planet. Now he shall be known for the social game, Dr. Momo's Island (or The Island of Dr. Momo). The game is a social experience on the Android phone released through the mobile social gaming network company GREE.

The game consists of collecting eggs and fusing/trading animals you collect, like Pokemon but with more breeding and messed up yet cute creatures and less glorified cock-fighting. The game was co-developed with Comcept and Index who oddly enough own Atlus.

The game looks insanely cute and fun and if there is an English version released I'd love to try it out. The game comes only a year after Inafune decided to form Comcept and Intercept after leaving Capcom. He had a good run with 23 years at the big blue company and now he's making it on his own. Dr. Momo is the first new title he has created with the 3DS title, King of Pirates scheduled for next year.
