With the Palm Pre's release challenging the iPhone, one might wonder as to how Apple will respond to the new guy competing for the market. Through his review of the Palm Pre, Walt Mossberg of the Wall Street Journal reports that there will indeed be a new iPhone, and it's hitting stores as early as next week.Seeing as the Apple World Wide Developers Conference is due next week, it's highly possible that the rumored iPhone will not be a rumor for long.

The usual flurry of non-E3 iPhone games will have to take the backseat for a while, leaving MoreGames Entertainment to take center the only stage in our iPod Touch and iPhone game coverage.The previous week's preview revealed gameplay for Knights Onrush, which is based from a Tower Defense concept with a 2D twist and a comical feel. It's been nearly a week since the publisher, Chillingo, submitted the game for App Store approval, and you should find Knights Onrush available by now with a US$ 1.99 price tag.
