iPhone Game Review: Asphalt 6 Adrenaline. A Great iPhone Racing Game |

There are several different racing modes in Asphalt 6. The ‘career’ mode allows you to start off with a limited budget and then play across the globe to make money and build your reputation. In the ‘free race’ mode you can choose to drive wherever you want based on what you have unlocked.
Both the career and the free race modes give you different racing challenges. The first is the Normal race where you need to defeat 6 opponents to come out at the top of the podium. The Elimination and Beat’ em All races is where you try getting your opponents into accidents to destroy their cars. In the Duel race mode you have a one on one fight with an opponent. You can also play with players online. The final mode which is the Collector race allows you to drive through obstacles in order to gain some extra cash.
Gameloft has been able to pack of lot of features into a single racing game on the iPhone. Apart from the diverse range of race modes mentioned above, you also get to modify your cars with the money you make which is a nice feature of the game. Add a spoiler and a side skirt, tune up the engine, splash it with your favorite color and you are all good to go. The more money you make the better upgrades you get to buy (both spare parts and cars).
However, there is some room to make improvements.
The three cars you initially start out with may be different make and models but seem to all be similar in the way they handle. You can only make out big difference between the cars only once you make enough cash to upgrade your cars or buy better cars.
Other problems include slightly pixelated graphics details of cars in game play as well as the appearance of random ghost cars in few occasions.
Regardless of these minor problems, Asphalt 6: Adrenaline can provide you with the racing excitement from a plethora of different race modes which normally cannot be found in one single game. Overall this game on the iPhone is a like a well balanced, fine tuned car engine and is definitely recommended for racing and non racing game lovers alike.
