GDC 2009: Kojima wants to do a "crazy" iPhone game |
Ó
Do I look crazy to you, punk? Rawr.
Following the *ehem* "success" of Metal Gear Solid Touch, Hideo Kojima has announced during GDC that he's making another iPhone game, and he's looking to do something completely "crazy."
According to the report, Kojima wants to make use of the iPhone's unique features, particularly motion sensing and music playing:
Finally, Kojima is open to doing another iPhone/iPod Touch game, but it might be something completely "crazy." One of Mr. Kojima's favorite apps is the lightsaber app. He would also like to do something that uses even more of the unique capabilities of the iPhone platform. For example, say you listen to a lot of Coldplay (his example, not mine)... if you then listen to Coldplay while controlling Snake, he might fight better. Interesting stuff.
Oh Kojima, you so cwazee.

Hes always trying to do something different compared to people who do the same thing over and Over Again
Doesn't it do that in MGS4?
ya it does..some music in the iPod has certain effects in the game.
but perhaps he means any type of music you have which might affect the gameplay.
