Here's another Gameloft-branded game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. This one's called castle of Magic, and if you're a fan of old-school platformers, then this game should be right up your alley.

In the game, players can master numerous magical powers and transform into different forms. You can use the various forms to transform and attack your enemies, navigate the universe, and interact with environments in different ways.

The length is of concern, though. It's just five worlds long, although there are secret levels sprinkled about as well as collectible gems. Completionists will definitely get more mileage out of this game that those who just want to reach the end.

Castle of Magic is now available on the App Store for only US$ 4.99. This price drop might be for a limited time only, so you better grab it before it reverts to the regular US$ 5.99 price.
