Eliminate - Image 1The new iPhone FPS that ngmoco was teasing about last month, Eliminate, is finally in the App Store. What makes this game cool is that apart from looking pretty good for an iPhone game, it's free to play.

To upgrade your character and get new gear, however, you'll need some credits. Credits can be acquired by playing and winning matches, but you'll need Energy to keep playing. If you want to take your Eliminate gaming far, you'll need to pay for extra Energy via App Store purchase. While you get some by default and more is earnable over time, the option to purchase is there to speed the powerup process up.

The process is slightly reminiscent of that of Mob/Mafia Wars on Facebook - you get Energy per fixed intervals, but if you run out and still wish to play, you can get those Godfather points for energy.

Care to try it out?

No ***** I'd rather pay $6.99 for the full app than to pay for micro purchases to continue enjoying a 'free' game.
