Perfect timing.

Apple has just announced that the iPhone OS 3.0 is coming, not soon after the iPhone Dev Team announced the discovery of a flaw in the second generation iPod Touch that allows you to pwn it no matter what firmware update comes along.

A preview of the OS is coming on March 17, with a look at a new version of the SDK. No info yet on when exactly we're getting the new OS, but I assume it won't be that long a wait, or else Apple wouldn't tease us with a preview.
