iPhone Dev Team releases Ultrasn0w, unlocks all iPhone 3G model

iPhone 3G owners rejoice! The iPhone DevTeam has finally released the long awaited iPhone 3G unlock, Ultrasnow. This new tool is an updated version of Yellowsnow and will unlock all iPhone 3G models except for the latest iPhone 3G S.

To install Ultrasnow:

Ensure you have upgraded to iPhone OS 3.0
Jailbreak your iPhone 3G using redsn0w or PwnageTool (this will also install Cydia/Icy)
Run Cydia or Icy
Please add the repo repo666.ultrasn0w.com to Cydia or Icy. That last Â“oÂ” is actually the number zero Â“0Â”! If you use the letter Â“oÂ” youÂ’ll get an error.
Search for Â‘ultrasn0wÂ’ in cydia or icy and install ultrasn0w
Reboot your iPhone 3G
T-Mobile USA users should disable 3G before using ultrasn0w
