jailbreak - Image 1Homebrew developer GeoHot has released Blackra1n, a new jailbreak utility for the recently released iPhone OS 3.1.2. This tool promises to jailbreak all OS 3.1.2 iPhone and iPod Touch models in a matter of seconds.

Developer's note:

So, what is blackra1n? blackra1n is a 30 second ALL device 3.1.2 jailbreak. Even the ipt3, but the ipt3 is tethered. In order to boot it, just rerun blackra1n. As far as donations go, they are much appreciated, but not until after blackra1n works for you. I never ask for donations before the tool is released.

Warning 3g and 3gs unlockers, do not upgrade to 3.1.2 using iTunes if you want to keep your unlock. Baseband cannot be downgraded. Check out the dev team's offerings. Also blackra1n doesn't hacktivate.

For more info about the release and to download Blackra1n, head over to the source link below.

Well nice to know that I informed about it's making before it was released and get any support good job qj. This does work on the itouch3g but only tetherd. If those don't know what that means think of it as hen mode for psp. You have to jb it once using blackra1n once it's done it will reboot or some sort then use blackra1n again to get the icon from there you use it to get cydia. But once your turn off your Idevice your gonna have to do it again. This also jb's fw 3.1.1 as well also heard it doesn't clear your data like music if your are on 3.1.1 or 3.1.2
