For $14.99, you can bring along a complete music production studio wherever you go, including musical instruments like a photo-realistically rendered 85-key keyboard  as well as 89 “too many to list in a post” studio-quality instruments (16 bit 44.1kHz sampled from their real-life counterparts). This program also comes with 100 drum loop beats, a 128-track sequencer, and other jam-packed features. Previously, you could only produce with this much focus on high-quality sound production using applications on your desktop or laptop. Programs like Cubase sell for over $100 while GarageBand for the Mac retails at about the same price.

Now for $14.99, you get just as much and portable too! The jam-packed features in Music Studio definitely will appease even the most sceptical music producer. Music Studio has well-defined sections to do your work in but all the sections (keyboard, instruments, tracks, effects, projects, setup, and help) are positioned with your workflow intuitively in mind. Even if you are a newbie to its many, many unlabelled icons, you can still find your way around. For example, you can use the instruments panel to choose from the mountain of instruments we mentioned with the multi-touch keyboard within close reach as well. You can view each track as a row and easily cut-and-paste your music from there. You can even zoom with useful detail to place notes with surgical precision where you need them to be.

Meanwhile, in the Projects tab, you can easily manage all your recordings and even transfer them to your computer over WiFi. There are seven demo songs included to get you acclimatized to this complex app. All of the seven samples were created using Music Studio. The touchscreen is even sometimes more precise than the real life studio experience, giving mobile  music production even more flexibility and intuitiveness if not the overall convenience of it all. Certainly Music Studio is worth more than its$14.99 price tag whether you are an amateur or pro. The company also offers the app for iPhone at the same price.
