The conventional wisdom for finding a misplaced phone is, call the number and see where it rings. But what if the iPhone is your only phone? A lot of us have dropped out landlines and depend totally on the cell. Or what if you drop it in the car, or while jogging? This handy app lets you locate that iPhone even if you have no ther phone nearby. Just activate the app in advance, and when you clap your hands, the iPhone will play a ringtone or vibrate, your choice. Obviously, you should probably chose a very loud ringtone like heavy metal music, so when you hear “Smoke on the Water” blasting from the garage or the laundry hamper, you’ll know instantly where to find your iPhone.
