appadvice reports: Nintendo has been able to weather the economic downturn better than any other gaming console manufacturer out there thanks to the strong sales of the Wii and DS. But just yesterday, Nintendo warned that they won’t be able to keep up their amazing sales numbers thanks to slowing Wii sales and increased competition from Apple’s iPhone. That’s not the only bad news for the gaming giant, however, as one The Secret of Monkey Island developer has stated that the iPhone is actually more powerful than the Wii.
“Frame rate issues will probably get sorted out eventually, but keep in mind that the Wii is just not a powerful console. An iPhone is much more powerful than a Wii, even.”
