Philips release iPhone dock |
Listed in: Apple iPhone 3G Tags: 3G, apple, ios

Philips has taken a step back from its range of MP3 players and PMPs to develop a docking station for the Apple iPhone. The Philips DC350 allows iPhone users to dock their iPhone at the same time as charging and playing back music tracks,
it will also synchronise your calendar, to-do lists and contacts with your computer (via USB hook-up), and let you make handsfree calls. However if you don't have an iPhone, or have more than one mobile, the DC350 dock will also allow handsfree calls and music streaming with any Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone, as well as iPod docking too.
The dock is supplied with its own remote control allowing the user to choose or change tracks, and features a large, easy-to-read display. As for sound quality, the built-in stereo speakers feature "Dynamic Bass Boost" for more depth in the music, whilst still keeping the overall depth of the dock under 15cm.
VERDICT: 70% (quite ugly)
