As we know, it's based on Paramount Pictures' 1986 movie, and you get to control a trainee under Maverick and Ice Man (sorry, no Goose, aww). The game plays much like Days of Thunder, and is already planned to be released as a PSN and XBL game. Here's a bit of a dev walkthough of the game, taken from GDC a few weeks ago:
