Dead or Alive app hits iPhone, iPod Touch

Even with series creator Tomonobu Itagaki now out of the picture, Tecmo is still managing to squeeze some milk out of the Dead or Alive series. Just recently they released a Dead or Alive app for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Before you start thinking "OMG 3D fighting game on iPhone!", hold up. It's not a fighting game. It's a blackjack game where the only objective seems to be winning as much money as you can to buy new outfits for Kasumi. Oh, and playing blackjack of course.

The game, called DOA Blackjack ~The Kasumi Version~ is now on the App Store and carries a US$ 3.99 price tag. Here are some screenshots.
