You'd think there'd be a lot more jokes involving the words Touch and Solid in this news, but I leave it to your imagination. Metal Gear Solid Touch is now available for the iPhone, a day earlier than anyone expected. The game's a hefty 90 MB, and costs US$ 8.
Konami's even released a whole line of new MGS-themed cover jackets for the occasion - looks like they're only for Japan though. The skins are available for JPÂ¥ 4,500 (US$ 46.50). Hideo Kojima himself has a one-of-a-kind cover jacket for his own iPhone, printed with a picture of himself on it. Wonder how many people would actually buy that if it were available commercially.

As the game is so crap I hope the quality of the covers doesnt match the game.
I wouldnt pay anything for this game and I'm glad I didnt waste my money on it.
I put it on the stupidest iphone app list. Its got a big name but its such a small crappy game.
4500 yen is nowhere near $46.50 USD. Its more like 4.50 as rough estimate but maybe you added a 0 so most likely it is $4.65 USD
