StreamToMe is an app that takes all the dirty work out of the enjoyment of media files that exist on your laptop or computer. Depending on your personal library, the process of conversion and transfer to the iPad could be a real pain. I don't know about you, but when I want to listen to a bunch of songs from my favorite artist or watch a particular flick, I want to do it right then and there. If you house that content on your computer, however, and just stream it to the iPad, the storage problem becomes a thing of the past. Many people may find this space-saving characteristic of the app to be its main attraction. Okay, so all of this sounds great. How do you get it to work, and is it complicated? Not at all. First, you will want to download the StreamToMe app to your iPad. Once that is complete, you need to install the ServeToMe app on you computer. When these two downloads and installations are finished, you will be able to see your computer's shared data via the iPad. Your mileage may vary as to the app's performance when used with your computer, but it does a good job of streaming the content for the most part. It supports various popular file formats, allows you to play all files in a single folder, can shuffle content to give you a change of pace, and much more.
