1. Quick Volume Mute Though there is no separate button on the iPad to enable the users to cut down the volume immediately, one can still mute the device so as to attend a phone call while watching the latest youtube viral with this trick: Just press the “Volume Down” button for a few seconds at stretch and the sound will mute. 2. Spotlight Function The spotlight search is an amazing function in view of time saving. The search allows the users to search both iPod and contacts in a jiffy and works for launching apps as well. Here is how to carry it out: Flick right on the “Home Screen” button. This would open spotlight search option for you. 3. Adding Extra Apps For Quick Access The iPad’s dock usually has four apps visible as the default setting. However, this can be changed to accommodate two more apps in addition to the existing four in case you feel that you use them pretty often and need quicker access to them. Achieving this end is pretty easy and here is how to go about it: Go to the “Home Screen” and press and hold the relevant icon to the application that you wish to add to the dock for quick access. Continue to hold the icon and you would see that the icon starts to wobble. Once that happens, drag it to the apps to your dock. You can do this for the next app too! 4. Autofill Option Does filling out web forms with the same sort of information appear to be the most boring task to you? Well then, this trick provides you with a way out of that drudgery. The “Autofill” option in Safari can fill your web forms automatically. Here is how: Go to “Settings”--Choose “Safari”—Then Choose “Autofill”—Select “Use Contact Info”. This would allow the device to extract information from Contacts app, Names and Passwords and save you from the trouble of filling up web forms. 5. Add A Webpage To Home Screen You do not have to look for a webpage that you visit too frequently through your Safari bookmarks every time you wish to access it. Try this out to place it on your home screen for quick access instead: Tap the “+” icon in Safari and then click on “Add to Home Screen” to accomplish that end. Aren’t these great time-saver tips? Well then, what are you waiting for? Go ahead and use them to make the most of your Apple iPad!
