iPad How to: Change Font Size and Enable Screen Zoom

1) Changing Font Size If you have problems with reading emails, notes or calendar entries on your iPad then you may just want to increase the font size on your iPad. This will definitely make reading text much easier. The only problem is that changing font size is only available for the mail, calendar and notes app. For other applications you need to change font size directly from the app itself. For the steps please read on.

i) From the home screen of your iPad go into Settings. ii) Next go into General and then Accessibility. iii) In Accessibility tap on Large Text. iv) You can choose the size you want your text to be. Once you select the option you want, press the Home button. That’s it! To test out your changed font size, go into either Mail or Calendar or Notes. You can change the font size again based on how you like it. 2) Enabling Screen Zoom Even though the Screen Zoom is placed as an Accessibility feature, this is going to be useful for all. You can use it if you have problems looking at small graphics/ text, when you browse the net, share photos and information etc. To know how to enable screen zoom please read the steps mentioned below: i) Go into Settings from your home screen. ii) Next, go to General and then into Accessibility. iii) Then, go to Zoom. iv) Toggle Zoom ON. You will find that there are three different ‘three finger’ functions you can perform using this accessibility feature. These are - Zoom, Adjust Zoom and Move around the Zoomed screen. Make sure to read them properly to start using them.
