Many consumers are wondering. What makes the iPad so special? Featuring revolutionary technology, it's able to trump the abilities of smart phones, PDA's, and even some computers! Featuring a 1 ghz Apple processor, the iPad has only been compared to its nearest competitor, the iPod Touch, because of its touch screen functionality. Why? Because the iPod Touch is about the only other piece of electronic device on the market that even comes close. Experiencing the joy of a touch pad screen with a completely different set of operation controls is Gods send. The market has been saturated for years with touch screen devices that fall short of consumer expectations. Apple unveiled this new device to give people with a penchant for hand eye coordination their chance at greatness. The screen is 9.7 inches of total control. It comes with preloaded books. It has nearly 10 hours of battery life and is completely customizable. The operating system of the iPad is the iPhone OS, and the technology has been upped to an incredibly high performance piece of electronic wizardry. Two different models will be available for purchase, each with their own separate version of Wi-Fi technology. You can Sync the device with Itunes, connect with cellular networks and GPS (Global Positioning Systems) around the world. Next month, when Apple officially releases the iPad for sale, hand eye coordination connoisseurs around the world are going to be pushing and shoving to get their hands on them. iPad touch screen functionality is all the rage, and soon, more and more devices will be utilizing this growing change in how our beloved electronics are operated. The functionality of the iPad brings up a very good point. The touch screen may offer a wealth of opportunity in controlling all kinds of things in our daily lives. Garage door openers, lights, heat, air conditioning, everything! There may some day be a plug in for the iPad that will make all of this possible. Hard to believe, isn't it. Well it's not for sure, but it could definitely happen.
