While many probably assumed that the previously mentioned teaser site was meant to reference a possible 3DS sequel to the original title, unfortunately what you will be getting here is essentially just a souped up remake of the first game designed for the iOS platform. At a pricey $18 for iPhone and $20 for the iPad, this is certainly not an  app that is  going to be easy on the wallet in comparison to other titles offered in Apple's store. Basically from my point of view, this would seem like a worthwhile investment if you have not played the original game yet.

In terms of new features, this remixed version will allow you to have both Neku and his partner on screen at once rather than having one character on screen at once. Aside from that however, the changes are only minor with some updated artwork, music, and a few little additions to the game's trademark psych system. If you're a super fan of this game, these new fine tunings in place with iOS tap touch controls might be worth your consideration. While it may not be completely new, it's hard to fully hate on a remix of a quality game.
