iPad News: New iPad in First Quarter of 2011?

Everybody wants to know when Apple will unveil a new iPad and how it will improve on the original, but it looks like we’ll all be waiting a little longer. Taiwan’s Digitimes reports today that component makers who supply parts for the iPad are expected to start shipping the second-gen device in early 2011. This report seems to be at odds with the paper’s earlier assertion that local manufactures were already working on an iPad Mini—unless Apple plans to surprise us with both for the New Year.
