Our all-new Kindle uses the latest generation E Ink (Pearl) for 50% percent better contrast, and is available at the everyday low price of ...$139.While it’s true this is the “old” model, these days anything that’s been out more than six months qualifies as “old.” This is a win-win deal, since Amazon gets to cut down its inventory and make room for the newer model and bargain hunters can pick up some cool presents at a reasonable price. The main drawback to this model Kindle is no Wi-Fi, because it requires 3G service. But hey, if you’re giving it a gift, that’s not your problem.
