With the Apple Maps scandal looming quietly behind them, Apple has taken quite a bit of care in making sure that all of the bugs in their latest version of iOS are being very finely tuned. Just a few weeks ago, we saw the release of 6.0.1 which brought some Wi-Fi stabilization and data usage issues to a screeching halt. As of yesterday however, even more fixes are on the way with 6.0.2 for the iPad Mini and iPhone 5.

If you're wondering what this update holds for you, the honest answer is not much at all. However, even with the strides made in the last version there were still some users across the board that were still reporting performance issues when using a Wi-Fi signal. It seems that the company finds this issue to be mostly isolated to the two newer devices, and as such has issued an update to resolve it once and for all.  As it stands, you should be able to find it as an over the air update within the settings app.

Still, I do know there may be some of you with other devices on 6.0.1 with Wi-Fi problems, and unfortunately I don't have anything for you today. What I can say, though, is that it appears 6.1 will be hitting the internet sometime next month, so with any luck you'll see better performance then. Not only that, but you'll also be getting some additional Siri commands, tighter passbook integration, and even some increased battery life.  However, if you have the appropriate device, updating to 6.0.2 will get your new iPhone or iPad surfing with ease.
