iDevices not getting Shadow Complex 2

There will be a sequel to the acclaimed XBLA platformer, Shadow Complex, this much was guaranteed by Chair Entertainment. If you are hoping to see it on iDevices, however, that's another story altoghether.

Said creative director Donald Mustard, "I'll put it this way. More Shadow Complex isn't a question of if, it's a question of when. Shadow Complex is our baby and we love it dearly and, y'know, we're working on some cool stuff [in general]. That's all I can say."

As to bringing the sequel to the iPhone, however, he's not holding out for that as he says the idea doesn't quite appeal to him. This, despite the recent success of Infinity Blade on the iOS. "I still cannot think of a way that we'd be able to bring over the precision controls [to touchscreen devices] that Shadow Complex needs to be amazing."

"If you or any of your reader shave some amazing control scheme idea that would work on a touchscreen, let me know," he offered.

"Shadow Complex is designed for a controller. I'm not a fan of trying to shoehorn console controls onto touch screens. They don't feel right. You just lose so much precision."
