Could the iPad Mini Dominate the Tablet Arena? |

We already know that the original iPad from Apple is the king of the jungle in the tablet world, but could the upcoming iPad Mini take domination to a whole new level? Some industry analysts think so. In fact, one analyst thinks it’s up to Apple to decide whether or not they want to “crush” the competition.

Until we know real specifics about the iPad Mini, all we can do is speculate. In an interview with CNet, Rhoda Alexander, an analyst with HIS iSuppli did just that. Alexander noted that if Apple slaps a price tag of around $249 on the iPad Mini, it could attract many shoppers to its side. While that would still be higher than the popular $199 Kindle Fire, shoppers could be willing to pay the $50 more just to have the supposed Apple quality in their hands. On the flip side, if Apple charges $349 for an iPad Mini with 4G LTE radio or some other extras, the mini tablet might not be as dominant.
At least the guessing game can end pretty soon, as Apple is set to unveil the iPad Mini after the iPhone 5. Will you be picking up the iPad Mini, or will its smaller form factor turn you off?
