Backflip: The Witness will eventually come to 'a' console |

No word for now if this means PS3 or Xbox 360, but this is a big turn around when compared with statements made a few months ago.
In earlier statements Jonathan Blow commented that they had no intention of bringing the Witness to any console, because of the 'specifications being over five years old'.
But, things have changed.
Blow has now confirmed that the plan is to launch The Witness on PC and iOS on its initial release date (due 2012 sometime) and then target other platforms, maybe one console.

Later on they will bring the Witness to all other platforms according to the new statements made by Blow.
In regards to his earlier statements, Blow said that those were made because he was doing 'all' these interviews, and had not believed they would do a console at launch. With the hiring of two additional programmers, they can now do a lot 'more' than they were previously capable of.
What is the Witness? Apart from being the second Indie title from a successful developer (Braid being Jonathan Blow's first game), the Witness is a 3-D puzzle game that takes place on an 'uninhabited island'.
Your tasks involve walking around the island (first-person view), solving puzzles and trekking your way through the complex mazes that have been designed.
If you like Puzzle games, or want to help support more Indie developers from your chosen console then this should be welcome news.
The Witness will be due for its first release in 2012 on PC and iOS.
