iPad Tips and Tricks: 9 Troubleshooting Tips Using Greenpois0n.

Tip 1: Make sure you have the latest version of Greenpois0n downloaded on your computer. The Chronic development team keep making changes to greenpois0n on a regular basis so go the website (www.greenpois0n.com) and download the latest version either for your Mac or Windows PC. Tip 2: The jailbreaking guide using greenpois0n has already been posted on iPad.net. Make sure you follow the step by step procedure to avoid making mistakes during the process and ‘bricking’ your iPad. Tip 3: If you are using a Windows PC then in some cases the greenpoison.exe file may not open. If you face this issue then try right clicking on the file, clicking on ‘run as administrator’ and opening the file. Tip 4: It has been found that the jailbreaking process may be affected with certain Anti-virus and firewall software. To make sure this doesn’t happen to you, temporarily disable these software and then enable them after the completion of the process. Tip 5: Make sure you don’t use a USB hub while connecting your iPad to your Mac or PC. The Apple provided USB cable must be used to directly connect your iPad to your computer. Tip 6: One common mistake while jailbreaking is that iPad users release the home button before the jailbreaking process completes. Avoid this by making sure you hold the home button till the greenpoison applications gives you a thumbs-up (i.e. completion of the jailbreaking process and the appearance of the Quit button).

Tip 7: Certain errors can be ignored. These include errors in the style of ‘Unable to find...’. Don’t hesitate; continue the jailbreaking process and your iPad will be fine. Tip 8: When you try installing Cydia if you are unable to find it through the loader app then do not fear. Try exiting the app and reloading it. If this doesn’t work then search for Redsnow 0.9.6 RC8 on google, download it and this will give you an option to install Cydia. Tip 9: Greenposi0n recommends that you jailbreak your iPad on a clean restore. If you encounter any issue and you haven’t restored your iPad previously then try restoring and trying the steps again. Let’s hope these tips make you feel more comfortable about jailbreaking your iPad. There is a lot to gain for little distress.
