Miriel starts with her own bakery store where she has to run around baking, fetching, serving customers and collecting money all on her own. It quickly gets frantic as the customers accumulate and the clock shows the imminent close of a working day. Organising your way around the store in order to serve as many customers as quickly as possible is a real skill: the less journeys you make around the store the better. As the game progresses you learn to bake different products in your oven to sell. The game actually gives you the proper recipes for these tasty morsels, so if you want you can cook up a Mirial the Magical Merchant style buffet! Different gaming options chosen at the beginning of the game can have a real effect on the unfolding of gameplay later on. There are a dozen different endings to this game, so altering your gaming style should steer you a different path towards completion. The mini-games are a pleasure to play and unlock new recipes is a real buzz. With a wealth of possibilities offered by multiple characters, 60 levels over 6 worlds and great adventures on the way, Miriel the Magical Merchant HD is surely one of the more unique yet compelling games available for the iPad.
