iPad Game Review: Angry Birds Rio |

The game starts off in the Smuggler’s Den. In this stage of the game there are no green pigs and the underlying objective here is to free all the birds from their respective cages. In other words, in this stage of Angry Birds Rio, the birds channel their anger to do good!
That said, once you have successfully completed the thirty levels and unlocked the Jungle Escape, it is back to the usual business (almost!). This is because the green pigs are still nowhere in sight! Enter marmosets. These are little monkeys that are challenging opponents and are in fact harder to kill than their green counterparts.
Apart from these small tweaks to the characters, the quality of gameplay remains the same. You fling the birds in the direction of the horizon and knock stuff down on your way. No one seems to be complaining as the game is just as enjoyable as we know it to be.
Rovio has done its bit to upgrade the graphics. For instance, the foreground and the background are much more detailed than it used to be. The parallax scrolling definitely gives a superior feeling of depth and a brilliant 3D sensation to the environment.
If you have never played the HD version of Angry Birds, iPad.net strongly recommends that you get yourself a copy of this game as it looks brilliant and the pinch to zoom feature surely adds a whole new dimension to the game and the gaming experience.| This story sucks? This story rocks! |
