Hector: Badge of Carnage Ep 1 dated for iPad

Telltale Games has announced an official release date for the HD iPad version of Hector: Badge of Carnage's first episode, We Negotiate with Terrorists. iPad owners won't have to wait too long, as the launch date's been pegged for May 12. It will be available for purchase and download through the App Store for US$ 6.99 GB£ 3.99.

We Negotiate with Terrorists is the first of a three episode game series making its way across a variety of platforms from Telltale Games. Episode 2 - Senseless Acts of Justice and Episode 3 - Beyond Reasonable Doom will be released on PC, Mac, iPad and iPhone in Fall 2011. The PC and Mac versions of the first episode is already out Steam and Telltale's own website.

The first episode is described as such: "In the damp, sweaty corners of Clappers Wreake – the city that took the 'Great' out of Britain – Hector is a shining example of the town's finest. He's violent, drunken and has a taste for all things criminal, corrupt, or smothered in curry. When a hostage situation arises, Hector is the people's only hope. Does he have what it takes to save the town? Who knows, Hector sure as hell doesn't."
