Epic Games working on Infinity Blade II Issues

Infinity Blade II hit digital shelves yesterday, and while the game has earned praise from most fans and critics, some gamers haven’t been able to enjoy the game at all due to a pesky bug with older Apple hardware. Apparently, generation one iPads and older iPod Touches may experience performance problems when running the game, depending on how many apps you currently have installed.

Epic Games, the company behind Infinity Blade, is well aware of the problem and hard at work on a solution. The developer is aiming to patch the game “ASAP,” so keep an eye on your little blue App Store icon for the notification that an update is ready. The basic problem arose because Epic didn’t test the game on fully loaded devices, instead using test devices that had only the game and a couple of other apps.

As we know, most iOS users don't have just one app on their Apple device of choice. And and a large number of apps, combined with the hardware requirements of the game, are causing older devices to run out of system memory. There’s no official timeline on how long a patch will take, but I’d expect one within the next week or so.

I have had zero issues with either game however, honestly....wait for the price to come down on this. I feel like I'm playing the EXACT same game. Sure the graphics are a LITTLE better but it's the same game. I'm already bored and do not feel like playing through it a million times for the sake of upgrading items for the sake of being able to upgrade more items for sake of....nothing really. The game has ZERO rewards other then...LOOK AT ME!

I haven't decided whether I want this on my iPad yet. I'm not really into playing games on it - I mostly use it for news.

I have iPad 1 and didnt even managed to start the game into the menu...even after rebooting and reinstalling the game
