With successful iterations of Bastion made for various other platforms including Xbox 360, Steam, and even Google Chrome, there is no question that this epic developed by Supergiant Games is sure to please on Apple's tablet.

In the game known as Bastion, you follow the story of a character known only as The Kid that is somehow able to escape the destruction of his homeland. Held in only by a fracture of an island that shares the title's name. With just a small piece of the past tethered to your back, it is your mission to travel across perilous landscapes to recover the parcels of land that have since been lost. In this simple but effective action RPG, you will see the world form around you with every step you make, just be sure not to fall over into one of the experience's many bottomless pits in the process of it all.
When it comes to this particular tablet incarnation, the good news is you're going to be getting a critically acclaimed game for a price that is sure to mesh well wish any sized wallet. At a price well-rumored to be around $5, if you can get this title and have yet to have played it, there is very little reason not to. In accord with most major games brought to iOS, there will of course be full GameCenter support that will allow for achievements throughout the gameplay. Other than that, details on the port are a bit sparse, but that doesn't make many gamers any less excited!

Although...on the iPad it wouldn't have been as great. Half of it's kickassness is the music and voice and that played back over a pretty beefy sound system of mine. Which can still be done on the ipad only in stereo instead.
