iPad FAQ: How to Set Up Home Sharing |

- First, open iTunes on your PC/Mac and from the list on the left side of the screen select Home Sharing.
- You will be prompted to enter your iTunes account username and password.
- After entering these, click on the Create Home Share button. iTunes will now sign in into your account.
- Click on done once the confirmation box appears. This means that Home Sharing has been set up.
- If you want to deactivate Home Sharing then you will find the option to toggle this under the Advanced Menu.
- Next, you need to get your iPad and make sure it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi network that your computer is connected to.
- On your iPad go into Settings. Under the iPod Settings you will see Home Sharing. You to enter the same iTunes account credentials as you did on your computer. Once you do so, click on done.
- Exit Settings and jump into the iPod app. On the left hand side of the screen you will a Library button in grey. Tap on this and a pop-up box appears. Select the shared library option. You will then be able to see the full list of content found on your computers iTunes on your iPad. Remember that if you want to view shared videos you must go into the Videos app of your iPad and not the iPod app.
