Listed in: iPad App Reviews Tags: apple, news, remote
Nate True , previously known for his iPhone application Tap Tap Revenge has announced a new application that he developed for the iPad. The application, aptly named Wormhole Remote, gives a Mac users the ability to control their Mac via their iPad. It may remind you of other VNC applications available for the iPhone, but this application takes a different approach to VNC. Instead of viewing your whole desktop, you have the ability to select which windows you want to interact with on your Mac. Best of all, the application lets you interact with your computer as though you were sitting in front of it. Complete with mouse and keyboard inputs found on the Mac (double-click, single-click, command, control, etc.). This application was initially thought to be an April Fool's joke because of its announcement on April 1st and the cynicism in the video, but MacRumors claims they have validated that this application is, in fact, real. You can download the server software for your Mac right now from the Wormhole Remote website .
