The iPhone is the thing of the past as the iPad is what is being most talked about in the IT industry. Despite the fact that the device has not yet been shipped by Apple, the market is ready with many apps, gadgets and covers for the iPad. The launch of the iPhone was followed by a lot of apps for the device and now it is the iPad’s turn. Along with many DJ apps for the device, the most recent that I came across is the Mixr. This is iPad’s multitouch, fully featured DJ app. True to be called a music revolution, the DJ app has been created with professionalism at the helm as the developers have tried to incorporate features like equalizing, cross-fading, drag & drop tracks, cue and the advanced effects of like auto filter and delays. The specially designed library provided by the Mixr displays all the tracks stored by the user. Thus a magic revolution of its kind, this must tried on the iPad. Below are some key features for the Apple iPad Mixr app:

The Turntables

These turntables look and feel just like the real-life turntables. By touching the vinyl records on your iPad you can mix, control the pitch, and "scratch" up your music. You can also play, stop, and run your music backwards - it's really that easy. The turntables also feature Live EQ and FXs, as well as a custom intuitive Library to hold your mixes and music.

The Library

This interface is incredible. No more ugly DJ library interfaces - this revolutionary library lets you turn your iPad sideways and have your "DJ crate" appear with all your audio tracks. With a flick of your finger, you can flip through your albums and load your LPs. Everything is built for you, so no need to mess with the API.
