There is breadth of information in this app which is hard to find together in a single place anywhere else. You can research the Constitution from its inception through amendments to current precedents and interpretations. It’s extremely interesting to map the growth of the US through its political and social maturing. This is a great resource for discovering your rights and responsibilities, and how they converge to create a country.

Some interesting additions may be to include articles surrounding laws of military engagement and war. Foreign relations as well as dealings with international organisations such as the UN and G8 would add further interest to the US Pocket Reference app. As America finds itself increasingly acting on the international stage, international legislation and America’s role and participation within it would be extremely enlightening, as would the US’s contributions to peace-keeping and aid programs. This is a great part of American life that is often sadly overlooked.

This is the app for shear unashamed patriotism, and there’s nothing wrong with that! In order to love and relish your country you need to know your country. I am proud of my country, and part of that pride is to know how it became as it is today. For every American, this app should be essential reading!
