The Photo Cookbook app for the iPad is as close as you’ll come to taking private lessons from a gourmet chef. While the recipes, presented in their beautiful full color glory, are so attractive that your guests will think you spent hours in the kitchen, all of them can be prepared in less than a half hour. Each recipe is explained step-by-step, from the basic ingredients to the final touches that make the dish look so perfect. The app contains 68 recipes divided into four chapters: Meat, Fish, Vegetarian and Desserts. Over 500 photographs illustrate the entire process, including a mouth-watering shot of each finished dish. The Photo Cookbook is $4.99 at the Apps Store.
