Corporate America was slow to embrace the iPhone, but has had no similar problem seeing the potential in the iPad. The latest corporate giant—and first Wall St. firm— to launch an iPad app is Morgan Stanley, which now offers clients the latest research from its analysts as well as filtered content based on the user’s investment profile.
Browsing the research is quick and easy with the intuitive interface. The Risk/Reward feature gives scenarios as to where a stock’s share will go if various events occur. Also handy are Best Ideas and Subscriptions, which give stock investment insights and allow clients to save and follow the companies or topics of interest to them.
The app is free, but a Morgan Stanley account is needed to log in. Download at the Apps Store.
