Whether you’re looking to improve your existing home or looking for a new one, HGTV is the channel people watch to get all the latest ideas and inspiration. It offers you interior design projects and jobs for your back yard, or features real estate programs designed for those who want to relocate. HGTVtoGO is the iPad accompaniment to the TV channel, and enables you to stream live programs, catch up on previous program episodes and view photo galleries of various projects. Using the app is child’s play. Photo galleries give you sample interiors from featured designers or inspiration of color matching with wallpaper, fabrics and paint. Full program TV listings are given for each show, enabling you to watch live or stream previous episodes. This feature is particularly useful if you want to move home and you're on the way to view a property. Whilst you drive, your husband/wife/girlfriend/boyfriend can get the low down on the type and size of house you are going to view, and pick up tips from the experts about what to look for and pricing. Get your friends involved as well with your home improvements or relocation. If they find something that may interest you they can grab it and email it to you from their iPad. You can also save your favorite interiors, exteriors or new homes to make later comparison easier. This is a pretty targeted app and of no interest to many people. But if home improvements interest you, or if you’re moving home, this is a brilliant app to download. As it’s tied in to the HGTV channel, you are guaranteed program quality, and the design advice is sound. And as a free app, you can spend those few extra dollars on another tin of paint.
