My dad loved checking out car dealers. He shopped for cars like women shop for shoes. I hate it so much I kept the last one for ten years, just so I wouldn’t have to auto shop again. If it hadn’t gotten stolen, I’d probably still be driving it. But sooner or later, we all have to buy a new (or newer) car, and Cars.com lets you do it from your iPad. Just tap the Vehicle Search to find new or used vehicles in your area, and compare prices and features. The car loan calculator lets you figure how much you can afford to spend before trying to make a deal on the vehicle of your choice. While Cars.com can’t guarantee you won’t get a lemon, at least you’ll save time and gas by not having to drive all over town, checking every dealer and lot separately.
